The Taringanui is called "vampire squid" by the Humans. They decided to create the specific Vampyromorphida order just for it.

The Taringanui's fins make it look like it's flying thanks to some sort of giant ears. In fact, in the language of The Ancients, Taringanui means "big ears".

This Taringanui appears in the Arapoa and Pokapango biomes. It is quite a rare sight.
Behavior[ | ]
Humans also call it Vampyroteuthis infernalis, literally "vampire squid of Hell". The Taringanui is in fact a peaceful oceanic snow eater. It won't harm anyone or anything.
This Mollusk will just avoid contact with any living thing. Feel free to contemplate it.

- The Taringanui is the only decorative creature you can discover at the moment, except for the Hemu and the Ponionio.
